One strap, one toe loop - enough for a summer sandal The name pretty much says it all: This sandal appears reduced to the bare  essentials and quite airy. Only one crossed strap, one toe loop, the footbed: That’s enough for everything to fit well, nothing slips too much and you don’t wear more than necessary on hot days. By the way, also no stockings or socks – they don’t go with the toe loop. So,Summer Windis clearly a barefoot sandal.

As always with our leather sandals, we make the sole and footbed to your footprint, so every sandal is bespoke and made to measure. The medium width strap is adjustable so that it fits the foot closely after adjustment. And of course you can readjust, i.e. tighten or loosen it  if necessary. We have not included a buckle: Even with only one strap, our “Mexican Join” does the job very well. The loose end is braided through holes in the heel strap, where it holds tightly enough. If necessary, you can loosen or tighten the heel strap in a few simple steps.

Even if this bespoke sandal appears quite simplistic: With its durable yet comfortable sole and footbed construction, our Summer Wind sandal is equipped for more than just idling away some leisure time. But this is something you’d best try out for yourself!
