A leather mule made to measure – from the Sandal Workshop Very comfortable, not only in the house, and also something special: In this custom-made design, a toe ring, or toe strap, complements the distinctive wide leather strap over the instep, if desired. And because the toe ring not only provides extra hold, but does not go well with stockings and socks, you wear this version barefoot.

Whether you want to call our hand- and custom-made modelAmalfia leather sandal or a mule is completely unimportant. But one thing is for sure: Since there is no heel cap, putting it on means just slipping in.

The sole structure with its cork footbed is sturdily stitched. Of course we make sole and footbed according to your footprint, but for the perfect fit we need you one time more often in our Freiburg Store Workshop than for a sandal with adjustable straps. That is because we need to adjust the wide leather strap that runs across the instep to fit your feet. It cannot be adjusted once it is sewn, and that is why we have to work very precisely.
