A bespoke sandal with Levantine lightness Characteristic of the leather sandalHaifafrom the Sandal Workshop Freiburg is the strap crossed twice over the instep and adjustable without buckle. The strap is tightened during the first fitting so that it fits the foot exactly. If necessary, it can be tightened and readjusted at any time. Of course, with this as with our other models we do not dispense with the careful processing of the leather and our cork footbed, which we make according to your footprint.

With its naming we have placed this model in the Levant, drawing less on historical sandal models than on the light-heartedness of the Levantine way of life. In fact,Haifalooks very light on the foot especially in the lighter leather colors, even though the sole construction is as durable and sturdy as all of our strap sandals. The somewhat narrower strap well closes around the foot, the sandal holds reliably and does not fit too loose.

As concerns everyday wearability, you don’t have to compromise on this sandal. Even if the casual leisure look might not let you expect it: WearingHaifa, you will also walk longer distances very comfortably. Where, again, the anything but common robustness of our handcrafted sandals comes into play.  And, if it should turn out necessary, we can repair or replace all parts.
