When it comes to finding the best material, we are not being dogmatic. Even if we usually prefer leather: This shoulder strap is made of woven synthetic fibers. Why that? This textile fabric hardly stretches at all stretch and retains its shape even when wet. It also absorbs practically no moisture and does not rub off when it rests firmly on the shoulder. In addition, the strap is smooth and soft to the touch – so it also does not scrub against clothing, even when the shoulder bag is heavily packed.
For the attachment to our shoulder bags we use solid and adequately sized screw connections. If you are interested in details: What we use are so-called binding screws aka book screws made of solid brass. Even though our bags are not about books at all.
